  • Distribution: Debian Buster

Steps to reproduce

In Amarok go to: Settings menu -> "Module" section and click "About" button next to the combo box with backend selection. The button does nothing, neither for xine nor for akode.

Hi Janek, are you taking about Settings -> Confugre Amarok -> Engine -> About button on top right of the page near the engine selection combobox?
If pressed, that button brings up a window with some information about the engine developer.

Sigh... yes, that's the one. I need to make sure to add screenshots to my bug reports - my back-translations to English are not very accurate.

Not for me.

I tried launching Amarok from the terminal and when I click the button I get a bunch of messages:

Those TQInputContext errors shows up when you open the Settings dialog, unrelated to the button in question.

Attached what the dialog looks like here. Have you tried using a different style to see if the problem is related to that?

Good point.

Attached what the dialog looks like here.

I'm definitely not seeing that.

I tried Plastik - same thing.

I believe yes, but I'll double-check later.

For me Amarok on TDE 14.0.9~pre – everything works fine. Both Xine engine and Akode engine. My language is Czech, so translation doesn't seem to be an obstacle either.
