Hi Janek, are you taking about Settings -> Confugre Amarok -> Engine -> About button on top right of the page near the engine selection combobox?
If pressed, that button brings up a window with some information about the engine developer.

Sigh... yes, that's the one. I need to make sure to add screenshots to my bug reports - my back-translations to English are not very accurate.

Not for me.
I tried launching Amarok from the terminal and when I click the button I get a bunch of messages:

Those TQInputContext errors shows up when you open the Settings dialog, unrelated to the button in question.
Attached what the dialog looks like here. Have you tried using a different style to see if the problem is related to that?

Good point.

I'm definitely not seeing that.

I tried Plastik - same thing.

For me Amarok on TDE 14.0.9~pre – everything works fine. Both Xine engine and Akode engine. My language is Czech, so translation doesn't seem to be an obstacle either.

uhm, very weird behavior... does it happens on all your machines?
I believe yes, but I'll double-check later.
