Hi guys,

Just a simple man page that I have taken from an ubuntu drader source modif, here:

http://old-releases.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/universe/k/kcpuload/kcpuload_1.99.orig.tar.gz

Just a sed command on It to change the name KDE to TDE.

Ubuntu also provides this package with an xpm pixmaps icon, do you want It?

The tdebase package has left off the xpm icons (kcontrol/clock for instance).

Hi Greg,

looks good at first sight, haven't tried to build yet (will do tomorrow, now going to sleep).

There are a lot of .xpm files in TDE source code, so I think it should be no problem to have one more 😄

Hi Michele,

No problem, but It's a bit like my question from yesterday.

This pixmap icon should go to /usr/share/pixmaps, but from what I saw in tdepim, some pixmaps have been put into /usr/share/apps/PROG-NAME/pics.

Just tell me where I should put It.

You could find these files more simply - they are in tde-packaging repository in folders for Debian and Ubuntu.

If I know xpm files are in Debian / Ubuntu packaging included for "menu" files - see the Debian package menu. Therefore, these xpm files are probably not useful for other distributions.

What do you suggest we do with those man pages?

Ok, time for me to hit the sack.

Do you prefer those man pages in your Debian/Ubuntu building system or right into the sources?

See you tomorrow.

It definitely makes sense to move man pages from tde-packaging to source codes in main tree. I just wanted to mention that many manual pages for which it makes sense to move, are already in tde-packaging == no need to look for them in external archives.
