Harvest last commits from svn as discussed on task #1. #5

The changes content mostly some tweaks and cleanups. It’s hard to say whether the application benefits from them or not, but let's hope the maintainer knew he was doing those ancient times. =) Also it contains an update of the polish translation (probably it’s the most valuable part).

I can confirm that at least it compiles and runs fine.

Tested, no problems.

Please, although this is a formality, use the rules for branch names as mentioned in the wiki for TGW.
