It solves two things:

  1. The eventsrc file is the default name for defining events. This is a desktop style file and has therefore been added to the list of automatically detected desktop files during template generation.
  2. When creating common rules for creating translated desktop files located in subfolders, there could be a collision of base file names and cause an unexpected result. This applies, for example, to TDE/tdegames/libtdegames/carddecks, where it is desirable to use common rules.
