Although the newly prepared test and configuration macros seemed to be OK, there is another necessary fix 😿
It turned out that old dbus versions (Debian Squeeze, Ubuntu Lucid – dbus 1.2.x) in the pkg-config file do not define system_bus_services_dir, but only session_bus_services_dir. This will cause the FTBFS. The fix for system_bus_services_dir derives the path from session_bus_services_dir.
