As recommended in bug 2985, CMake >= 2.8.9 instead of COMPILE_FLAG -fPIC contains the new POSITION_INDEPENDENT_CODE property.

With the proposed patch, this property will be used if CMake is >= 2.8.9.

As recommended in bug [2985](http://bugs.trinitydesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2985), CMake >= 2.8.9 instead of COMPILE_FLAG -fPIC contains the new POSITION_INDEPENDENT_CODE property. With the proposed patch, this property will be used if CMake is >= 2.8.9.
