It's funny to see how long obsolete software could be preserved in distributions, if they would not hurry up to remove all they can find. In this case it seems FreeBSD was some good source for patches and also for even newer versions than the last in Gentoo included ones. That has to be 10 years now, since this libs were removed from Gentoo and they are still working and building fine. 👍

  • Add MIRROR="restrict".
  • Add patch to build skyutils without SSL3.
  • Modernize to configure.ac files.
