The Slick Icons theme contains two variants of all folder icons (a glossy one and a striped one).
IMO it would make sense to split them into two themes:
Slick Icons Glossy
Slick Icons Striped
so that:
the user can easily see that there is another variant of the theme
it is easier to select the alternative striped variant.
Also, a split based on different folder colours could be considered.

Yes that is what I mean. There are two versions of some (all?) places icons but the second one (striped) is difficult to set without some tinkering with mimetypes.

Uhm.... it seems that is true only for the "places" icons. I don't see the two versions for the other icons. Am I missing something?
