Description

The tdebase starttde script does not export the XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP environment variable. This affects people launching TDE from startx.

This variable support has been added only to TDM.

Included in this starttde attachment are many editorial changes. Changes also include updating back ticks to parentheses.

There are several FIXME notes to draw attention to various issues.

Rather than attach a diff patch, the entire script is attached for easier comparisons.
