Trash link on desktop does not open correctly in Dolphin #63

TDE R14.1.0-dev

Display trash icon on desktop. If double clicked, it opens correctly in Konqueror (location bar is trash:/). If right click -> Open with... -> dolphin: dolphion opens but report a problem trying to opening location /opt/trinity/share/apps/kdesktop/Desktop/Trash/

If Trash is double clicked, it opens ok both in Konqueror and Dolphin, depending on the chosen default file manager.

If right clicking and choose Open With, it fails to open both in Konqueror and Dolphin

when I right click and open with, I get prompt to choose application. I type konqueror and it asks if I am sure that I want to open the application /home/.../Trash. After confirming, it opens two windows. In the second window trash opens.

I have two files in trash and no dolphin installed.

where do you do "open with", on the desktop?

Hi Emanoil, as described I am talking about the Trash icon displayed on the desktop. Double click works fine. Instead if you right click and choose "Open with" it does not work, as you also found out.
