Delete Branch 'translation/fix_german_computer_icon'
Deleting a branch is permanent. It CANNOT be undone. Continue?
First impression of the German user of TDE is that he is greeted with a
desktop icon on the very top of the desktop called "Speichermedien",
which is so long, that it wraps up this ugly way: "Speicherme-dien".
Which looks very unpolished and leads to a bad experience for first
timers. This comes from KDE3 times still. Most likely it was just
copy-pasted from other places.
The term "Speichermedien" is used otherwise in nearly all other places
(German), so changing it just for that icon looks inconsistent at first.
But in fact the original (English) name for it is also called "Computer"
and not "Speichermedien" for this icon. So the gain of beeing
inconsistent is bigger because it looks more polished. If someone is
unhappy about that, he can open a ticket or join IRC to find another
solution.

Thanks Chris, merged.
Perhaps next time try to keep commit message a bit shorter and just put the explanation in the PR comments 😉
Hi
I would disagree here, because the translation in all languages (I understand 3-4) is as "Speichermedien". While in other language it is 2-3 words in German it is one composite word and it needs to be squeezed what in other language gets managed by moving the new words on new lines. Now the inconsistency is even bigger because in English it says "My Computer" and not just "Computer". In German it would be "Mein Computer" oder "Mein PC"
The question is why "My Computer" was used in English in first place.
I got so used to "Съхраняващи устройства" that I am not sure if I would want to see "Моят компютър" (My Computer).

This commit is only related to the German translation. If necessary please discuss on IRC or ML and come to a common understanding. If necessary, we can readjust the translation again 😄
By the way, @deloptes, you have a few suggestions for translations waiting for approval on Weblate: https://mirror.git.trinitydesktop.org/weblate/user/deloptes/suggestions/
@SlavekB - yes I do, but I did not understand what is to be done next and I didn't have the time to follow up.
