Basic information

TDE R14.0.6, Ubuntu 18.04, self compiled 64-Bit

Description

When trying to create a distribution list (“Save List”) in Kontact/KMail and selecting an address book which is a directory resource (one file per entry) the distribution list is shown in the contact view but not saved to disc (disappears after stop/start of kontact). When using a file resource (one file for all entries) the distribution list is saved.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Start Kontact, switch to E-Mail
  2. Select a mail with some recipients
  3. Press CTRL-T to edit this mail
  4. Select “Save List” to save to recipients as a distribution list
  5. Select an address book which is a directory resource
  6. Switch to Contacts, the newly created distribution list is shown
  7. Leave Kontact and restart it. The created distribution list is not shown (and not saved to disc)

Yes, it is. It completely changed the way developers and contributors interact.
By the way, let us know if you want or are planning to propose pull requests (PR) to be incorporated into the main code. In that case we will add you to the contributors group, so that you can create PRs.

Thank you for the offer! I will try to contribute bug fixes but currently have some way to understand the code structure and the control flow.
