Hi there,
usually mailing list is a better place for this kind of questions, probably the Devs ML.

Is the question referring to native support in Windows or to support under WSL/WSL2?

Native support for tqt3 not for all desktop.

Historically we never really looked at support for TQt3 under Windows and at some point we either consider getting rid of some of the windows related code in it.
Having said that, recently I have started pondering whether to build tqt3 under windows myself, so there may be a possibility this will come at some point, but not in the near future at all (and surely not before cmake conversion of TQt3 is completed).

My thought is such that we are trying to keep the code for Windows (and other systems) in place to be there for case that someone will be interested and will be experienced to test it and take care of it. For TDE purposes, we do not need native support for other systems than Unix type and we do not have enough time to test it on other systems. Therefore, it waits if someone who will be motivated for such work will appear.

I have tried to build it on MSYS2 (UCRT64) without success so far.
